Let’s start today’s blog with some math! Simple addition, so no need to worry!
Okay, I have decided that this year, I want to jump on the crochet-a-long bandwagon. I am going to host a Christmas “ragdoll” CAL! I say ragdoll because it isn’t amigurumi, but it isn’t technically a ragdoll either. Basically, I am designing a gingerbread dog for my niece…because that wack-job asked for one for Christmas! Kids! The death of me! But, she’s adorable and I love her, so I am figuring this out. And, I am going to take whoever wants to go with me along for the ride!
I will be posting the pattern portions here in the blog, as well as creating short YouTube videos to explain concepts and show where things are at. For those who don’t want to routinely check the blog, I have a newsletter that will also send out the pattern portions and links to the videos. I am debating making a FB group, but I don’t know anything about operating those, so it may not happen.
I don’t plan on starting this until closer to Halloween, as this is my super busy season for the shop. I am working on the pattern design now, and will send out the supply list soon. This shouldn’t be a long CAL, 4-5 weeks tops. It is pretty repetitive, as both sides look the same! But, it should be a fun little project for those with kiddos to make gifts for, gift tree kiddos, white elephants, or even stuffed animal loving adults.
